Welcome to McBride Paint and Wall Coverings Web
Site
Thanks for visiting us online. McBride Paint and Wall Covering
is a full service wall covering and painting company. If you are looking for a
quality job and understand value you need to call us. Our wall covering
guarantee is this, " If you can find someone to do it better, we'll pay them to
do it over." We have lived with that guarantee for years and we still stand
behind it.
Painting is something that value has disappeared from. People
have a difficult time comparing pricing from one contractor to another. For
instance, if one contractor is using Dunn Edward's exterior stucco paint
Evershield and another is using Dunn Edwards Trac-Cote, the estimates could vary
quite a bit. Evershield cost $18 per gallon and Trac-Cote cost $9 per gallon.
That difference in price could mean $500 on the estimate of a 2500 square foot
stucco home. If the contractor using Evershield is back-rolling the stucco
and the contractor using Trac-Cote is thinning and just 'staining' you home the
difference in materials could be as much as $1500. You home will be clean
(stained with a new color), but certainly not painted and protected.
A home painted with Evershield will look great for 20
years. A home stained with Trac-Cote will look good until the first rain and the
dirt from the landscape rocks splashes up and stains the bottom foot of your
stucco.
Currently we have our price list online. We also have links to
wall covering manufacturers that can help you find ideas and wall covering
patterns. Some of the wall covering sites have wall covering estimator programs
and lots of pictures of rooms decorated with their materials.
Soon we will have a message board for you to ask your decorating
questions. Questions like 'what is floating the wall mean?', or 'do I have to
size the wall?' will be part of the message board and our frequently asked
questions section.
A story section is also on it's way to this site. After 30+
years in the contracting business there are some very interesting stories to
tell
